Here’s a brewery day with a difference! Not just a tour, not just a tasting, but a chance to get stuck in and really get involved with the brewing process, with a hands-on experience of mashing, boiling and pitching the beer yourself.
The Sadler’s Ales brewery is located in the heart of the Black Country, and they produce award-winning cask and bottled ales. Your day as a brewer starts in the morning with coffee in the tap house, The Windsor Castle, when you will meet the brewer who will take you through the pub cellars to the brew house. There you will measure out your ingredients and start the mashing process before embarking on a full tour around the brewery. After this you will be given a delicious breakfast accompanied by your first beer sample of the day!
After breakfast you return to the brewery to carry on with your brewing experience. The brewer will work with you and explain all aspects of the process to you as you go through the day, with a break at lunchtime for the Sadler’s Ales famous Hop Pickers’ Platter lunch. There will be plenty of opportunities to sample the ales throughout the day!
At the end of the afternoon it will be time to return to the tap house and relax, before picking up a three-bottle gift pack of ale to take home with you as a memento of your day as a brewer!
